2/5- STORM WARNING- Surprise! Barbara to slam Connecticut

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE-

A WINTER STORM WARNING is up for the four eastern counties of CT. Everyone else has a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY

And for most, Happy Weekend!! That's right, because the vast majority of schools and businesses will probably be closed today, especially along and east of 91 thanks to Winter Storm Barbara, the 2nd named storm of 2015/16. This is WFSB's name...which I have consistently used on my blog. Lexi..the name I used last night...is the Weather Channel's name...which I will use if WFSB does not name the system.

The snowfall map I made yesterday remains unchanged from the previous one, so now we sit back and enjoy.

The storm prospects for next week continues to look rather significant at this time- the next name on WFSB's list is Caroline. In fact...we may have just locked in to a brutally cold and snowy pattern for the rest of the year...if so, we may just get above average snowfall for the fifth time in the last six years(!)
