Good Sunday everyone-
Unfortunately, we once again have a very difficult forecast on our hands as a major nor'easter misses us to the east but we are on the western fringe. The result is a forecast that...if the storm jogs 100 miles west...we get a ton more than the amounts shown below. For now, this is a best guess...but these could go up if the trend west that we saw last night continues today. For now though...
This is how I see it for now. The snow will begin early tomorrow morning and continue until the middle part of the day tomorrow...so it falls during the morning commute. This makes it a difficult call for superintendents, but I think the timing of the snow will result in many schools being closed completely. The problem is that, due to the nature of this storm, the only other option that would help is a full day. Thus, it's probably all or nothing. Please note that this storm will NOT EFFECT SUPER BOWL PARTIES TONIGHT. Things will change through the day, but I won't change these unless I see something very noteworthy that would completely change the forecast.
Enjoy Super Bowl 50 tonight!
