Good Monday all-
Today is going to be beautiful, and yet the least good of the next four days. It's going to be sunny and in the 50s this afternoon, which will feel great, but what will really feel great is the 60s tomorrow...but the 70s on Wednesday and Thursday will be AMAZING. Skies will be partly sunny through this timeframe, and the next chance of precipitation comes along on Thursday evening but especially Friday, when a soaking rainstorm is possible as a cold front moves through and drops the temps back to average for the weekend, which will feature a rainstorm as well. By early next week though, there are signs we may do this all over again. Spring is here folks!
Today in weather history- March 7, 1717- The legendary "Great Snows" end- but not before four monster snowstorms strike New England in a nine day span, leaving snowfall depths of over sixty inches in parts of the region. A truly once in a few centuries event here!
