Good Wednesday all-
I don't have time to be in depth today, so I'll make this pretty brief- warm and mild through today and tomorrow, scattered showers are possible Friday but models disagree at the moment (go figure). Weekend looks INCREDIBLE WITH TEMPS NEAR 60!!!! Next Monday is fine but Tuesday looks to be a total washout. There are strong signs of a major storm of some kind on or around the Winter Solstice but we're way too far out to know anything about that at the moment.
The next chance for 3+" of snow is- >7 days away
Today in weather history- December 9, 1989- An unusually strong storm strikes southern Alaska, causing winds to gust in excess of 75mph and causing significant power outages in Anchorage.
